Perfume consist of Ayaka Nishiwaki ("Aa-chan"), Yuka Kashino ("Kashiyuka"), and Ayano Omoto ("Nocchi") . Their songs are written and produced by the musical genius Yasutaka Nakata (the producer also responsible for Kyary Pamu Pamu). Their hit song Polyrythm was featured in the 2011 Pixar film 'Cars 2'.

You know. In the scene that's ignorant of everything about Japan?
The concert was part of their 2nd World Tour, which also consists of concerts in Cologne (Germany), and Paris (France). Originally planned at O2 Academy Islington with only 1000 tickets put on sale but due to the high demand the location was changed to O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire and number of tickets were doubled.

One of the highlights of the concert was when Nocchi said "We can't speak English. But, we will use magic!" Then going on to give her microphone to an eager bilingual fan to translate their opening speech.

Hopefully, they wouldn't be so stingy on a translator next time around.
