Japan Manga News: Dragon Ball author's new manga series "Ginga Patrol Jaco"

Toriyama Akira (the author of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dr. Slump) is launching a new manga series called Ginga Patrol Jaco (Jaco The Galactic Patrolman).

Very little has been revealed about the plot and characters. But from the title and picture above, we can assume that it's about a galactic patrolman named Jako who has an adventure with a girl and an old man... and he can fly much to surprise of the two sidekicks. (I'm the next Sherlock Holmes!)

The manga will start from the 33rd issue of Weekly Shonen Jump on sale from July 13.
It has been 13 years since his last manga series "SAND LAND". Will it be able to top his 200 million novel selling Magnum Opus "Dragon Ball"? Doubt it, but we can always hope...
