Japan Music/Film News: J.J Abrams and Yasutaka Nakata co-produce a track (featuring Kyary Pamyu Pamyu) for "Star Trek Into Darkness"

The Japanese music producer Yasutaka Nakata has co-produced a song with Director/Producer J.J. Abrams. The song will be featured in Abrams' "Star Trek Into Darkness".

J.J Abrams a Director/Producer quickly climbing the ranks in Hollywood known for his work on the hit TV series "Lost", Yasutaka Nakata is one of the most prolific modern-day music producers known for his work with Perfume, Capsule and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.

In fact, the aforementioned Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, the poster-girl of Japanese Kawaii culture, also provides the vocals for the track.

The track "Into Darkness" is available on iTunes from July 10th and the film "Star Trek Into Darkness" will be in Japanese Cinemas from August 23rd.
